Save yourself time and money- don't… Save yourself time and money- don't support rude hateful people- just think, if they treat people so rudely (and hey, we can write reviews and talk about it!) just think how they treat animals they see as not meeting their "standard".

Here is a copy of my complaint I filed with the BBB for the hurtful, abusive remarks about a pet that we had since she was a baby and died in a tragic accident at the age of 10.

The following is the response I recieved from this organization after I filled out their application. I am well aware that they can deny anyone. That is their policy and the risk I took, I can accept that. What I didn't agree to was an abusive response including an insult about a tragic accident involving one of our first pets (who was 10 years old at the time). If this is how they treat people, I can only imagine how they treat animals:

"Good at vet, even preventative care for the cat. Layla had a "car accident", love this...she must have been drinking and testing - bad girl! She was last seen 1/2010. They are gone 8 hours a day (thinking about Duke, but he may have a home) and the new dog will be able to run the property with the safety of the invisible fence - like Layla did? Oh, I think they hit the adopted from us before line by accident, I find nothing. "

*** Side note, I did hit a button by accident about adopting before, but I was never asked to clarify. Never was asked to clarify the accident, nor how it is that we have somehow managed to keep two dogs and a cat safe for many years. We have never had a neighbor complain about their care, and have a great record for care at the vet. This organization, on the other hand, has many complaints about customer service online, so this not an isolated incident.

Am I angry? Yes. This response was uncalled for.

"No need to be nasty about it. I see now why you have so many negative reviews online. Now it will be one more. Layla was a loved animal who had an unfortunate accident that is awfully painful for my family. For you to make light of it shows your true character. Thanks for saving me the money with you. If you think you can treat people this way, you are undoubtably abusive to your animals, too. Im glad you sent such a rude and hateful note me, I'd hate to have my money go towards supporting your abusive operation. Now I can post with confidence that those reviews are spot on- I've had my own first hand experience with you. Sorry that I wasted MY time with you. Also sorry for those animals having to spend time with such a hateful person. I can't imagine they enJOY it so much. They are probably more than happy to be adopted- "get me the heck away from that woman". Lady, you give b****s a bad name."
